Two: Demand an item-rate or measurable BOQ, not a lump-sum single line. If a quote cannot be measured, it cannot be verified, and every dispute will favour whoever wrote it.
Three: Ask how quality is verified. Cube test frequency, steel test certificates, third-party lab reports — a professional contractor will show you their quality file before you ask.
Four: Clarify the payment schedule against physical milestones. Advances are normal; unverified progress payments are not.
